Can you come to me??

Of course! Plumb Learning has spent over six years designing and refining all of our kits, courses and workshops to ensure our expert team of facilitators can pop up anywhere in the country.

We’ve got our own venue will it be suitable?

We’ve been to museums, we’ve been to music festivals, to schools and to scout halls.  We can pop up nearly anywhere.

All we need is a ground floor space with adequate lighting and a minimum 20sqm with access for our team to unload and park their car.

What if we don’t have a venue?

If you don’t have a venue don’t worry.  We have a black book full of awesome venues and community spaces that we can secure on your behalf.

My child is ill what should I do?

Contact the office via email: info@plumblearning.org or text/whattsapp: 07956554386 with your child’s name and booking reference and we will make sure to let the facilitator know.

I need to cancel last minute, will I get my money back?

What does CIC mean?

A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a type of company structure used primarily in the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions. It is designed for social enterprises that want to use their profits and assets for the public good. CICs are distinct from traditional for-profit companies in that they have a primary social or community purpose, and their activities are regulated to ensure they benefit the community.

Key features of Community Interest Companies include:

  1. Social Mission: CICs are established to benefit the community or pursue a social purpose, such as improving the environment, promoting health, supporting education, or providing services to disadvantaged groups.
  2. Asset Lock: CICs are required to have an asset lock, which means that their assets and profits are dedicated to achieving their social objectives. This prevents the assets or profits from being distributed to shareholders or directors for personal gain.
  3. Regulation: CICs are regulated by the government to ensure they operate in the best interests of the community. They must submit an annual community interest report to demonstrate how they have fulfilled their social objectives.
  4. Limited by Guarantee or Shares:  Plumb Learning CIC is limited by guarantee.  This means that we don’t have shareholders and operate for nonprofit purposes.
  5. Flexibility: Despite their social focus, CICs can engage in commercial activities and generate profits. However, these profits must be reinvested into the company or used to further its social objectives.
